DOG CARE

This page is still under construction and we plan on adding many, many, more links on dog care!

The links below (and anywhere else in the site) help provide information that we hope will be useful to pet owners or potential owners. Please understand that the information and advice provided in these sites are, to the best of our knowledge, accurate and given in good faith. However, we have no way of knowing if everything is indeed factual and encourage you to consult an animal behaviorist or veterinary rather than relying solely on the information provided in the links below. The decision to use, or not to use, any information is the sole responsibility of the reader. In no event shall Homeward Bound be liable for any damages whatsoever resulting from any action arising in connection with the use of this information - Homeward Bound makes no warranties or guarantees and expressly disclaims all liability.

Some of the web sites have graphic images of animal abuse, neglect, euthanasia methods, and so on. We have tried to make reference if a web site has graphic material. However, we apologize in advance if we accidentally overlooked one. Please email us if you feel a site needs to be flagged as having graphic material. This isn't to say that these sites shouldn't be visited - the only way things are going to change is if people become educated about these topics and visual images make a very strong impact. They are voiceless ones and depend on us to educate the public about what really goes on. With public awareness comes change - we hope that by seeing these sites you will be outraged enough to demand change. Go the sites.

FEATURED DOG
Name: Gucci
Description: Female, young adult, Beagle / Brittany Spaniel
Gucci is a beauty of a dog, sweet and those eyes just capture you! She is smart and playful young girl, already housetrained and crate trained, loves to romp, run, and play and yet settles down very nicely inside. She would do best in an adult home, only because she was severely starved prior to being rescued so now protects her food and bones. This will most likely pass with time, especially with work, but to be safe we want an adult home for her. Gucci loves people the best, she will tolerate other dogs but prefers to be left alone.
