CATS FOR ADOPTION

Every week we have a wide variety of dogs/puppies and cats/kittens up for adoption. Most Homeward Bound cats over the age of 6 months have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and feline leukemia tested. Many are front declawed as well. Kittens are up to date on their age appropriate shots and have been deowmred but do need to be adopted out on a spay/neuter contract. They must be neutered/spayed by 6 months of age. Our pet adoptions are held every Saturday from 11:30 - 4. If there is a cat/kitten that peaks your interest, we recommend that you arrive early at our pet adoptions since cannot place "holds" on our animals. If you would like to inquire about our animals (besides coming to our pet adoption) please email us. Please keep in mind that we are volunteers and have families and jobs but we will respond to your email as quickly as possible. We don't have time to talk to people on the phone — sorry. All HB cats/kittens, unless otherwise noted, must live indoors only.

CAT ADOPTIONS: In addition to our Saturday pet adoptions, we will have special cat adoptions from time to time. Upcoming mini cat adoptions includes December 9th. Hours will be from 12-4 at the Maple Grove Petco. The cats/kittens are excited since there won't be many dogs barking so they'll be able to show their true, sweet personalities at the event. If you have any dog or cat donations you'd like to drop those off you can bring those as well. Email Amber at aclose21@hotmail.com with questions.

Kittens and Cats: Our friends at S.A.F.E. Sanctuary, Minnesota Valley Humane Society, Last Hope, Greater West Metro Humane Society, Second Chance, Martin County Humane Society, Feline Rescue, and other rescues (most of which can be found on www.petfinder.org) always have plenty of wonderful cats and kittens who need homes.dog.
FEATURED CAT
Name: Suds
Description:Suds should have been named Garfield - he sure LOVES his food! Unlike Garfield though, Suds is small but he is a bit found and oh so adorable! Once he gets to know someone, he is spunky but until then he tends to be shy with strangers. Suds would actually do best in a house without another cat simply because other cats tend to overshadow him. We think he'll really start to come out of his shell if there aren't any other cats to boss him around! He is up to date on his kitten shots and deworming but is still too young to be neutered. He will need to be adopted out on a legally binding neuter contract and MUST get neutered before he is 6 months old. Proof of his neuter will need to be sent to Homeward Bound. For obvious reasons, he MUST live indoors only, absolutely no exceptions. You can email lpuppylove4u@aol.com for more details.
